LOAD-CELL BRAKING WITH 12-BIT HALL SENSOR CONTROL
The Virtual Fly RUDDO+ is a heavy-duty rudder pedal system built with aluminum and solid steel components for long-lasting flight simulation use.
The rudder axis uses a Hall effect contactless magnetic sensor, while the brake axes use load cells to measure the pressure applied by each foot. Each axis provides 12-bit resolution with 4096 values, while linear ball guide technology is used in each pedal for smooth movement. Pedal resistance can be adjusted across four levels of hardness, and the RUDDO+ supports three mounting methods using the included Velcro strips, chair strap, or screws. The pedals support Plug and Play driverless USB installation for PC and work with Virtual Fly’s VFHub software for testing, calibration, setup, and adjustment.
The RUDDO+ is also used in Virtual Fly Certified Aviation Training Devices certified by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
