Built from diecast aluminium with a CNC-machined finish, the Type-C combines durable construction with the motorsport-derived QR2 mechanical design.
Its tapered connection naturally creates a tight fit between your Steering Wheel and Wheel Base, while precision manufacturing tolerances provide a robust mechanical connection. The anodised surface adds durability and helps make Steering Wheel detachment easier.
An improved clamp ring secures the Base-Side to your compatible Wheel Base, while the QR2 design allows supported Steering Wheels to be attached simply by pushing them into place.

YOUR QR2 TYPE-C UPGRADE PACKAGE
Your QR2 Base-Side (Type-C) includes the Base-Side adapter, clamp ring with bolts, a 5 mm Allen key, and a Quick Guide. A compatible QR2 Wheel-Side must also be installed on your Steering Wheel. The Wheel-Side adapter is not included in the listed package contents.

The QR2 Base-Side (Type-C) is designed specifically for the CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro Wheel Bases. To use a Wheel Base fitted with the Type-C, your Steering Wheel must also be equipped with a compatible QR2 Wheel-Side. The Steering Wheels and Hubs listed below can be used as part of a compatible QR2 setup when fitted with the appropriate Wheel-Side adapter.
