The CSL DD delivers instant, detailed Direct Drive force feedback in a compact wheel base designed for responsive and consistent sim racing performance. With the standard 90W power supply, it produces 5 Nm peak torque, while the optional Boost Kit 180 increases maximum output to 8 Nm.
Fanatec’s patented FluxBarrier technology improves motor efficiency and smoothness, while the carbon fibre-enhanced steering axis reduces rotational mass for responsive acceleration. The aluminium housing provides passive cooling, eliminating the need for active fans.

FANATEC ECOSYSTEM
Designed for PC, Xbox-Compatible Setups, and Fanatec Hardware
The CSL DD QR2 integrates with Fanatec steering wheels, pedals, shifters, handbrakes, cockpits, and mounting solutions. Xbox compatibility is enabled when the wheel base is paired with a Fanatec Xbox-licensed steering wheel. PlayStation consoles are not supported.

Fanatec Steering Wheels

The 100% custom motor was developed in Germany specifically for sim racing. It delivers sensational performance thanks to patented FluxBarrier technology, communicating the nuances of force feedback detail to your hands with remarkable clarity.
EFFICIENT AND RESPONSIVE.
The efficiency of the CSL DD motor technology means dynamic force-feedback performance is contained in a small footprint. This is also the first industrial motor to feature a carbon fibre composite motor shaft, which increases responsiveness and acceleration significantly due to low rotational masses.
UP TO 8 NM OF TORQUE.
Standard peak torque is 5 Nm, with the Boost Kit 180 (sold separately) unlocking the full 8 Nm. This high level of torque can be sustained without the need for active cooling, with the extruded and CNC-machined aluminium casing acting as the structural chassis as well as the heatsink.
MOTORSPORT-DERIVED QUICK RELEASE SYSTEM.
The new QR2 quick release delivers rock-solid performance at the highest level. The shape of the coupling was developed for use in real-world motorsport, originally used in the 2022 BMW M4 GT3 race car.
HOT SWAP
The carbon fibre-reinforced polyamide construction allows for fast and secure switching of steering wheels. Hot-swap between different wheel designs without needing to restart the sim or your Wheel Base.
