Developed together with BMW M Motorsport, the Podium Steering Wheel BMW M4 GT3 is the actual steering wheel made for the 2022 BMW M4 GT3 race car. It was engineered for both real-world GT3 motorsport and sim racing, bringing the same hardware, controls, construction, and ergonomics into your simulator.
The wheel features a lightweight multi-layer carbon fibre body, durable rubber grips, dual-action magnetic shifters, dual analogue clutch paddles, Hall-sensor controls, RGB-backlit buttons, multiple rotary inputs, and a 1-inch OLED display. It is homologated for GT3 racing and meets FIA standards.

Full Carbon Fibre Construction
Lightweight multi-layer construction uses eight layers of carbon fibre and is designed to withstand real GT3 racing conditions.

Race-Optimised Inputs
Features 14 buttons, three 12-way multi-position switches, two grip-mounted encoders, analogue clutch paddles, and the BMW logo functioning as a 4-way D-pad.
Custom RGB Illumination
All 12 front-facing buttons are RGB-backlit, colour-adjustable and dimmable, and can also operate as RevLEDs through supported PC software.
Dual-Action Magnetic Shifters
Push/pull magnetic shifters allow shifting in either direction using one paddle or can be assigned as separate inputs.
OLED Telemetry Display
The integrated 1-inch OLED can display supported telemetry data such as speed or gear and provides access to hardware tuning settings.

The Podium Steering Wheel BMW M4 GT3 can be used with the supported Fanatec wheel bases listed below. It is also designed to communicate with the 2022 BMW M4 GT3 through CAN bus.
ClubSport Wheel Bases
Compatible with ClubSport Wheel Base V2 and ClubSport Wheel Base V2.5.
CSL Wheel Bases
Compatible with CSL Elite Wheel Base, CSL Elite Wheel Base V1.1, CSL Elite Wheel Base + officially licensed for PS4™, CSL DD Wheel Base, and Gran Turismo DD Pro Wheel Base.
Windows PC
Compatible with Windows PC. FanaLab customization and supported telemetry functions are available on PC.
PlayStation
Compatible with PS4 and PS5 when connected to a PlayStation-licensed wheel base. Available functionality can depend on the console, firmware, game, and developer support.

This steering wheel is not compatible with Xbox systems.

Designed to communicate with the 2022 BMW M4 GT3 through CAN bus and is the same steering wheel developed for the race car.
Quick Release Options
Compatible accessories include QR1 Wheel-Side, QR2 Wheel-Side, and QR2 Pro Wheel-Side. QR2 Pro Wheel-Side is preinstalled.
Firmware Updates
Steering wheel firmware must be updated using the included QR2 update cable and cannot be updated through a Fanatec wheel base.

MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE
The M4 GT3 wheel is covered in features, some of which are not obvious at a glance, such as dual-action magnetic shifters, dual-analogue clutch paddles with adjustable travel, two extra rear-mounted buttons, and the D-pad hidden under the BMW logo.
RACE-OPTIMISED INPUTS.
An array of 12 front-facing buttons plus 2 more at the rear are perfectly placed for quick access. Dual-action (push/pull) magnetic shifters allow upshifting and downshifting on the same paddle, or they can function as four separate inputs. The grip-mounted rotary encoders have a strong, positive click, using Hall sensors for precision and reliability.
CUSTOM ILLUMINATION
The RGB LEDs behind all 12 front-facing buttons plus backlit multi-position switches means you’ll always find the right input in the heat of competition. Programmable via CAN bus in the real car, and via FanaLab on your PC, the backlit buttons can even function as RevLEDs or tyre slip indicators.

ENDURANCE READY
We’ve built a wheel that can withstand the harshest of racing conditions in the cockpit of a GT3 car, tested to the same extremes as the car itself. Thanks to its full carbon fibre construction it is incredibly strong and light.
QR2 PRO WHEEL SIDE
The Podium Steering Wheel M4 GT3 is now preinstalled with the QR2 Pro Wheel-Side quick release, designed for both real and virtual racing applications. It features fully CNC-machined parts from billet aluminium, developed to meet real-world motorsport requirements.
