Purchased the Pimax Crystal 50PPD pre-order edition that included the top strap and DMAS speakers. Overall, it has very good image clarity that is slightly marred by the presence of mura on the QLED panels. A second issue I noticed was that the colors on screen seemed to be a little washed out compared to other headsets I’ve used. The Pimax software provides some configuration settings that help offset this, but it’s limited.
The biggest issue was the included DMAS speakers. Both are very loose in the joints, which causes a buzzing sound when certain audio pitches happen. Almost sounds like an electric razor. Also, the DMAS bass is so overpowering that other sounds are being drowned out with no way to change it in the Pimax play software.
Other than these issues, the headset is pretty fantastic, and the weight is well balanced. I would recommend getting some aftermarket comfort mods to improve the experience.

I feel like the product presentation misled me. I bought the adapter plate expecting it to work with the flight base clamp as shown on the website. The flight mount itself has been excellent, but this additional plate turned out to be just a small piece of metal. It doesn’t integrate with the flight clamp in any meaningful way and can’t properly mount both the HBP and HGP as implied.
At the time of purchase, there was an image suggesting the plate would fit atop the flight mount and allow mounting of the handbrake and shifter together. That image is no longer visible on the site, which makes me wonder if I imagined it, but it was definitely what influenced my decision. As it stands, the plate has limited use and feels like a waste of money.
The Variable Micro Adjustment VESA Adapter mount from ApevieSimulator has been a fantastic addition to my setup. The build quality is excellent—very sturdy and stable even with multiple monitors. The micro-adjustment feature makes it easy to get everything perfectly aligned, which has made a big difference for both comfort and immersion. Installation was straightforward, and it feels secure once tightened down. After using it for over a week, I can say this mount is worth every penny. Highly recommend for anyone serious about their sim racing or multi-monitor setup!
I bought and installed the 4-point Harness Kit in on my DOF H6. It enhances the emersion when strapped in the seat. You feel motions / vibrations etc. more and gives you more race car feeling being strapped in. The belts are very comfortable, easy to install and look and feel like very good quality. First I was not sure about driving with a belt, but now I love it. It was a well worth purchase for me. Thank you.
I just got my DOF H6 from APEVIE and I am glad I ordered it with the Pedal quick release. It makes changing the pedal distance easy.
Well worth it.
It's better to move the pedals than having to move the seat and then the distance to your steering wheel would change.
I have had my DOF Reality H3 for several years and was very happy with it. Never had any problems with it.
Then I went to the Chicago SIM racing expo and tried out the DOF H6. Well, I ordered the H6 the same day from APEVIE. They have excellent customer service and carry all accessories etc.
The DOF H6 is very nicely built. Everything fits together perfectly. It has different hole patterns for various pedals and Wheel bases, so my stuff bolted right on.
The emersion is awesome. Feels very realistic, so fun to drive. I am super happy and can highly recommend the DOF Reality H6 and APEVIE.

The wheel itself is perfect - everything feels good and works very well. Quality materials, the button/encoder/switch action is all great, and endlessly customizable. The only thing that keeps it from being perfect is that I can't get my simhub dash on the wheel's screen. With that said, the Conspit dashes that come with it are very serviceable. Also, Apevie including the adapter was a lovely touch - Big thanks, guys!
I’m using the GT300 on a Fanatec CSL DD using a Simube QR2 Ultra (Enable FFB) emulator and works fantastic. Yes, it bolts on with no issues or extra adapters. This wheels functionality is way beyond what the average Sim Racer will need. Having SimHub functionality makes it easy to use. Well worth the price. Great for GT and Sports cars.
