Designed to meet FIA standards, the QR2 Pro features precision CNC-machined components made from aviation-grade billet aluminium. Originally used for the 2022 BMW M4 GT3 race car, its design has undergone further improvements for sim racing and future motorsport applications.
The tapered connection is milled from a single aluminium block using 5-axis CNC technology. Precision manufacturing tolerances create a robust connection between your Steering Wheel and Wheel Base, while the self-aligning mechanism helps protect the electrical contacts.
Its spring-loaded locking pins allow you to attach your steering wheel simply by pushing it onto a QR2-equipped Wheel Base. No additional locking parts, adjustments, or operation of the spring-loaded sleeve are required during attachment.
A PTFE coating makes detachment easier, while the integrated connection transfers power and data between your Fanatec Steering Wheel and Wheel Base.

FANATEC QR2 ECOSYSTEM
CONNECT YOUR STEERING WHEEL TO QR2.
Upgrade your compatible Fanatec Steering Wheel with an exchangeable quick release to the QR2 system. The QR2 Pro Wheel-Side connects to all QR2 Base-Side variants. Your Wheel Base must have a QR2 Base-Side installed before you can use a steering wheel equipped with this adapter. The following Fanatec Steering Wheels, Hubs, and Wheel Bases are listed as compatible. Wheel Bases identified as requiring a QR2 upgrade must be upgraded before use. Special Note: A QR2 Base-Side is required on the Wheel Base to use a steering wheel fitted with the QR2 Pro Wheel-Side.
