Traction loss is a motion effect where the rear of the simulator slides laterally, replicating the feeling of the back end breaking loose — oversteer, drifting, and rally-style slides. The AS4 uses the Qubic System QS-CH2 2DOF traction-loss platform, so you feel the car step out and learn to catch slides just like on a real track.

The AS4 combines two Qubic System motion stages: QS-220 actuators providing 3DOF (heave, pitch, and roll) plus the QS-CH2 platform adding 2DOF of traction loss — five degrees of freedom total. It's the setup drift and rally drivers ask for.

The AS4 is built on our own Apevie RTR V2 aluminum extrusion cockpit (1600mm x 400mm), designed and manufactured by Apevie and hard-mounted with the full motion system. All three packages use the same RTR V2 cockpit, motion system, and Apevie X1 Formula Carbon seat.

Standard turnkey builds ship in 1–3 weeks. Custom builds or additional customization take 3–6 weeks, and in some cases up to 8 weeks. Every AS4 is hand-built at our Huntington Beach, California facility.
