Rigidity is what stops a cockpit from flexing under heavy braking and strong force feedback — flex kills the detail you feel through the wheel, so bracing the joints properly is one of the cheapest ways to improve a rig.

Yes, on any Apevie build using 4040 profile. Note that our RTR V2 uses 160x40 mm profile and the SP Cockpit uses 80x40 mm for their main chassis rails — these brackets are for 4040 sections and accessory mounting rather than those main beams.
